On initial consultation it is usually decided whether I will work for you on an hourly rate or a fixed fee based on the scope of works determined by you.
As an Interior Designer I am creative, imaginative and artistic. Combining knowledge with aesthetic vision, I work with my clients and other design professionals to develop design solutions that are safe, functional, attractive and meet the needs of the people using the space.
I know how to plan a space and communicate it to the client. I also discuss the materials and products that will be used to create and furnish the space, and how texture, colour, lighting and other factors combine and interact to make a space.
I work with a large core group of suppliers and trades who come trusted, talented and dedicated. So if a client needs any of the above, they are at hand.
I try and make the whole process as easy as possible for my clients by communicating clearly and giving my clients regular feedback on progress. After 21 years in this industry, I am very aware of how daunting and challenging a project can be. I like to think I reduce that greatly, and sometimes altogether as has been mentioned by past and repeat clients.
I have good project management capabilities, since I frequently work on more than one project at a time under demanding deadlines. I understand planning, and have the ability to communicate my ideas to clients and maintain good client relationships.
I solve problems rather than make them, and hand hold my clients through every project.
